Known as ‘the glittering queen of Pop Art’, she is Inspired by festivals, nightlife, and her personal journey from party life to sobriety, she uses her rainbow-coloured art to celebrate creativity and transformation, channelling her emotions of positivity nostalgia, and curiosity, to deliver uplifting, cathartic experiences.
Emma’s early passion for treasures and the unconventional stems from her Cornish heritage, having grown up in a family with a history of pirates and smugglers. This unique background inspires her art, where each piece is meticulously crafted from miniature hand-made components (often involving curious, precious and occasionally contraband materials) to reveal a sense of playfulness and mystery.
Now based in Devon, Emma creates dazzling artworks that balance bold colours with deeper themes of consumerism and excess. Her fascination with colour combinations and how they can spark joy is central to her practice and her aim is simple but powerful: to elevate spirits and leave a lasting impression of fun, energy, and wonder. From resin lollies to glittering pill capsules and framed feel-good slogans, her art is as joyful as it is thought-provoking, leaving a lasting impression on both casual viewers and dedicated collectors.
With her distinctive approach, Emma has attracted a global following, including notable clients such as Zoe Ball, Dawn French, Gordan Ramsay, Danny Dyer and Hollywood superstar Margot Robbie, who purchased her celebrated ‘Bad Barbie’ piece in 2022.
